What You Need to Rent a Trailer
To ensure a smooth, secure, and fast rental experience, please review the requirements below before reserving or picking up your trailer.
Valid Driver’s License
- Must present a current, valid US government-issued driver’s license at pickup.
- The renter must be at least 21 years old.
- The name on the driver’s license must match the reservation and payment method.
Proof of Auto Insurance
- You must provide active auto insurance coverage for the tow vehicle.
- Your policy must extend liability coverage to towed trailers/equipment.
Payment & Security Deposit
- A major credit card is required for booking and security deposit.
- Cash is not accepted for security deposits.
- A temporary hold/deposit will be placed on your card at pickup and released upon safe return of the trailer.
Rental Agreement & Safety Rules
- Must sign the standard Capital City Trailer Rental Agreement prior to rental.
- Review and follow all weight-limit guidelines, proper load-tie-down practices, and safety-chain instructions.
